What is Prehistoric Farm?
Prehistoric Farm is a dinosaur farming and raising experience on Roblox from the group Project Mirvy. You grab a shovel, dig up fossils across wild islands, then bring complete fossil sets to Dr. Ivy's DNA Lab to grow eggs.
Green-Zone Digging
Hold your shovel on a dig site and release in the green for bigger, rarer finds — the core skill behind every good fossil haul.
DNA Lab Breeding
Turn complete fossil sets into eggs at Dr. Ivy's DNA Lab, warm them in the incubator, and raise every hatch from Newborn to Elder.
Island Exploration
Buy bigger boats to sail beyond the starter island — Sky Spires, Triassic, the Auction Island and richer dig grounds.
Mosasaurus Raids
Team up with spears to take down the giant sea-reptile boss and steal sea-reptile eggs from the Sunken Grotto.
Once an egg hatches, you raise the dino from a tiny Newborn into a huge Elder by keeping its belly fed, then ride it around the ranch and use it to dig up even better finds. Beyond the fields you can fish the open sea, dive for rare catches, steal sea-reptile eggs from the Sunken Grotto, and team up with friends to spear the giant Mosasaurus.

Prehistoric Farm FAQ
Do Prehistoric Farm codes need the Project Mirvy group?+
Yes — every current code is group-locked. Join the Project Mirvy Roblox group first, then open the in-game Codes menu and enter codes like GOGRINDNESSIE, NESSIEISHERE and UPDATE05 exactly as written. Codes are single-use per account and expire with updates, so redeem new ones quickly and always check the wiki for a recently verified list.
How do I get a flying dinosaur in Prehistoric Farm?+
Complete Clara's Sky Egg Quest at Sky Spires: talk to Clara, catch twenty pufferfish in the open sea, dig seventy times at the Triassic island, then buy the flying dinosaur for 10,000 Coins. The steps and counts are community-confirmed and may shift after updates, but the route is the only known way to earn a flyer right now.
How does hatching and raising a dinosaur work?+
Dig a complete set of matching fossils, bring it to Dr. Ivy's DNA Lab to grow an egg, place the egg in the incubator and wait for it to hatch. Then keep the newborn's belly above half full — feeding it regularly drives its growth from Newborn through every stage until it becomes a rideable Elder that digs and travels faster.
How does the green-zone dig meter work?+
Hold your shovel on a dig site and release while the meter is inside the green zone for the best finds. Releases outside the green still dig but with worse odds, so the green-zone timing is the core skill of the game. Higher shovel tiers raise every dig site's payout and your odds of pulling gem fossils like aquamarine and obsidian.
How do I beat the Mosasaurus boss?+
The Mosasaurus is a team boss that spawns in the open sea and needs a full server of players with spears. The community strategy is to rotate aggro: one player draws the boss while the others close in with spears, then everyone backs off to heal and repeats. Do not attempt it solo, carry spare spears, and coordinate the raid in chat before engaging.
How do Luck and EXP boosts work?+
Boosts come from codes and potions. Double EXP windows accelerate leveling and dino growth, while Double Luck windows raise rare-find odds during digging. They stack with potions, so the efficient play is to save every boost and pop them right before a planned long grind or gem hunt rather than using them on a short session.
What should I do first in Prehistoric Farm?+
Join the Project Mirvy group, redeem every active code, then grab your shovel and learn the green-zone timing on your starter island. Complete one full fossil set, hand it to Dr. Ivy at the DNA Lab, hatch the egg, and keep the newborn fed so it grows into an Elder. Save coins for shovel upgrades before boat purchases.
